Built for veterans who have put their lives on the line for our country and now need to depend on someone else to provide one of the most private tasks
My idea for the invention came to me because I was injured and had numerous surgeries. I wanted to shower on my own but found it hard to keep my wounds dry in the shower. I found it exceptionally hard to shower when I had shoulder surgery. How can I get soaped up and rinse off with one hand? It was impossible.
I came up with the idea in 2006 and have taken the last 8 years to engineer and build the system.
The Trident Shower System delivers soap mixed with water through any hand shower. It can use any liquid soap or body wash. It is a water saving device because you can take a shower in less than a minute. The physically challenged will find this very useful since it can be operated with one hand. It will give people with only one hand the ability to rinse soap up and rinse on their own.

While Michael was looking to solve a personal issue, his experience lead him to the realization that what he created could be of physical and psychological benefit to the brave men and women who serve in our military and have been wounded.
From the physical standpoint, the system will allow wounded warriors the opportunity to bathe (lather, exfoliate & rinse) with only one hand. Psychologically, the system will aid in the maintenance of self-esteem for the wounded individual. The user will be capable of bathing themselves. Believe me, this is huge for combat veterans who have put their lives on the line for our country and now need to depend on someone else to provide one of the most private tasks.
Let's look at the elderly and people who have been struck by a stroke. The benefits are exactly the same. We know that as our parents age, they lose physical abilities, but the thing they attempt to hold on to longest are the ability to do for themselves and their self-esteem.
The Trident Shower System works with any hand held shower, and can be used with any body wash or liquid soap. It installs as easily as any hand held shower and comes with a luffa sponge attachment. The Trident Shower System is useful in a number of environments to aid in bathing and conserve water.
